about

I wrote this song in honor of a friend of mine that died recently, John Kendall Adams. It's my way of honoring our friendship and what he meant to me. The song contains reworked bass and guitar parts from a song we wrote when were sixteen, a sample from one of his favorite Erykah Badu songs, and a lecture about brachiopods. John was a PhD student in the Geological sciences at the University of Chicago. Brachiopods were among his favorite fossils.

All proceeds from the sale of this song will go to the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance- Metropolitan Detroit (www.dbsa-metrodetroit.org), in honor of John and his family.

Samples used in this song:

Erykah Badu's "Bag Lady"
"Introduction to Brachiopods" by @flyingscience [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJaMlVwHsxI]

about

Musical side project of Christina Dennaoui. This is her attempt at making dance music for the discerning, while poking a little fun at the proverbial sausage party that is electronic music.
